Starting Your Journey
Here’s what you can expect once you inquire about a website project:

KINDRED CONSULT
Before booking a project, we’ll start with a 40-minute call to learn more about each other and determine if we are a good fit to collaborate.

BOOKING & PREP
If we’re a good fit, I’ll send you a proposal. It includes the contract and an invoice for a 50% deposit, which is required to secure your spot. Then you will receive a welcome guide, which leads you through preparing for the project. Once submitted, we’ll get your project scheduled.

DESIGN & REFINE
We’ll kick things off with an Alignment Call on day one of the project. Then, you sit back and let me work my magic. You get a round of refinement edits (if necessary), as I want to work closely with you to ensure that your website truly represents your vision.

DELIVER & LAUNCH
I like to close every project with a Wrap-up Call on the last day to go over everything. I’ll toss some virtual confetti to help you celebrate your beautifully aligned new site, and we’ll hit publish together!

Yes and no :) You don’t need to have worked with a brand designer before, but I do require that you have some branding resources (fonts, colors, and at least 1 logo) before I design your website. If you don’t have branding, we can always add-on branding services to cover what you need!

Yes! Once everything is prepared, I’m able to move quickly and intentionally so you can get a custom site without a drawn-out timeline.

Not at this time. I work primarily in Squarespace because it offers a great balance of features, flexibility, and functionality. With Squarespace, you can have your main website pages plus scheduling, a shop, a blog, and so much more right in one platform–which makes it a great choice for most of my clients.

That’s absolutely something we can talk through. A strategically designed 1-pager can still be incredibly impactful. We can always start there and plan to evolve your site in the future.

Your copy (the words that go on your website) does need to be finalized and ready before design work starts. While I’m a skilled writer (if I do say so myself) and I know my way around a well-structured website, I prefer to stick to design and coaching work. You can DIY your own copy or work with one of my preferred copywriters if you’d like support. Read about my go-to copywriter here or feel free to reach out to me if you need any recommendations.
